I would like to provide clarification regarding Friday evening before the Coley-Avent Family Reunion.
This is not an additional event being added to our originally planned reunion schedule, nor should it be considered an extension of the reunion into a three-day event. Because I need to establish a central and convenient location for family members to pick up their reunion T-shirts in advance, I have decided to meet family members at the bowling alley from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM for T-shirt distribution.
During those hours, family members who come to pick up their shirts are welcome to stay, bowl if they choose, fellowship, socialize, and enjoy one another’s company. However, participation is completely optional, and the primary purpose of meeting at this location is to provide an organized central pickup point for T-shirts prior to Saturday’s reunion activities.
I wanted to make this distinction clear so there is no misunderstanding. This informal gathering is simply being used as an opportunity to distribute T-shirts while allowing family members who are present to fellowship together. It is not intended to change or expand the official Coley-Avent Family Reunion schedule into a three-day event.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prepare for a successful reunion weekend.
